Cape Winelands Tours

For serious wine enthusiasts, one of our more comprehensive Cape winelannds tours extends over several days. This trip will take you into the better known Cape wine estates in Constantia, Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

Some of the most famous Cape wine estates are situated here, and the routes have a good balance of large and small, popular and less frequented farms. At Groot Constantia, as you wander through the beautiful old buildings where Simon van der Stel once lived, you will feel the breath of history brush your cheek. You will also visit Boschendal, one of the most historic of the Cape wine estates on the Franschhoek wine route and another gracious example of Cape Dutch architecture.

On the Stellenbosch wine route you will be visiting the magnificent Neethlingshof. We will also take in many other homesteads and estates, each with their own special history and traditions.

On Cape Winelands tours, several Cape wine estates are incorporated into each day's schedule. Wine tasting being just one of the many pleasures to be enjoyed. Also included are cellar and vineyard tours where you'll have the opportunity to meet and talk with some of the winemakers and cellar masters.

 

Our nights will be spent in beautifully restored estate hotels and luxurious guest houses in tranquil and picturesque settings among the Cape's wine regions. From the winelands you can extend your trip to incorporate any of the many other options available: other activities, golf and shopping.
